My Arctic Boat Trip Was Cancelled... Then This Happened | Tromsø, Norway

On my second day in Tromsø, Norway, my plans were turned upside down when a much-anticipated fjord boat trip was suddenly cancelled. Faced with an unexpected gap in the itinerary, I set out to explore Telegrafbukta Beach (Telegrafbukta) and Folkeparken, two of Tromsø's most scenic coastal locations, in search of photography opportunities.

In this video I explore the shoreline west of Tromsø, photograph the dramatic Arctic landscape, discuss my camera settings and image compositions, and enjoy spectacular views across the fjord towards the mountains of Kvaløya.

What began as a disappointing cancellation became an unexpected day of exploration, landscape photography, and discovering one of Tromsø's favourite recreational areas.
